Downloads

Packs are large, so archives are split into parts of about one gigabyte. Each part can be downloaded and checked on its own.

Downloading

Download every part into the same folder. Most browsers and download managers can resume a part that stopped midway; if not, only that part needs to be fetched again.

Checking the parts

Each pack lists a SHA-256 sum for every part. Compare them before unpacking. On macOS and Linux use shasum -a 256; on Windows use certutil -hashfile with SHA256.

Unpacking

Open the first part with any archive tool that supports multi-part archives; the others are read automatically. After unpacking, the folder follows the layout described under formats.

Disk space

Allow roughly twice the archive size while unpacking. The largest packs in the library need around 30 GB of free space during this step.
